"I would like to thank all parties that gave us the opportunity to go to the Sugar Bowl we had a BLAST! Here on Fort Polk most people forget that we actually have units that are stationed here and not just here for training. We all enjoyed the ball game and will spread the word about what you guys do in this organization! It is a great thing that you guys are doing! Thank You! -- Army Cpl. Briena Jackson
"I was able to attend my first NCAA football game due to Gameday for Heroes. I've been a football fan as long as I can remember, although I've never really been able to go. Money isn't is flowing as it used to be. Thanks to Gameday for Heroes I was able to experience NCAA football at it's best. It was a great experience and I'm glad that as a Vet that people actually think about us and appreciate what we do. It's not an easy job and there aren't a lot of benefits but to be appreciated on this level is amazing!" -- Army SPC. Antoine Lynch

"As we (my family) prepare for another deployment to Afghanistan, we had discussed going to another Crimson Tide game as we had done just prior to my last deployment. Unfortunately between the availability and price of tickets, it became apparent that it wasn't going to happen. I found out about this organization through a fellow soldier and within about a week, we were planning a trip to Tuscaloosa. We had an amazing time and created plenty of memories before my departure, which as any service member knows, is very important. Thank you so much to Gameday For Heroes and the donors that made it possible. Keep up the great work." -- Army Sgt. Andrew McGowin

It's hard to spend time with family when I'm stationed far from home, and getting together at a big game was an awesome way for us to reconnect. We really appreciate the services of this program, and I hope that other military personnel get the chance to take part in it." -- Sgt. Cody Rogers, USMC

My wife and I are very appreciative of all the donors and the men and women who put on the tailgate. Jana and everyone else made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to make sure we were having a great time. To all those who donated tickets for the soldiers, I don't think you truly understand how grateful we all are. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! Awesome job, Gameday For Heroes!" -- Army Staff Sgt. Michael Pooler
"As a wounded warrior I was honored to be able to get to see the Alabama and Kent State game. My wife and I had a great time with the donor who made it happen and we also made friends with them. I want to say if you are a wounded warrior I strongly encourage you to take part in this program." -- Army Staff Sgt. Billy Joe Guyton
"I went to the game and I had no idea what to expect. We were happily welcomed, treated like family, and shown a good time. Everyone I met from the organization couldn't have been more friendly and kind. I can only speak for myself but I know all of my friends from my unit would agree that this may seem like a small token of your appreciation to us, but for us this is a huge way to say 'Thank you.' Things like organization keep us going and remind us everyday that people still care. So to that, I say thank you Gameday For Heroes!!!" -- Army Staff Sgt. James Grady
